Over the last 30+ years, Dawn has worked in many aspects of the industry – a vacation and corporate consultant, and agency manager. Dawn worked for airlines and tour operators both in reservations, group sales, inside sales and customer service. This experience and insight enables her to provide her guests with the best informed travel arrangements at an exceptional value.
Dawn has been fortunate to travel to over 40 countries (and counting!). She has travelled to all Canadian Provinces and territories except Nunavut (which is on her list!). She has also toured much of the USA and have meandered through the waterways of the Rhine, Amazon, Nile and Mekong rivers and discovered many wonderful destinations on small and large ocean cruises. In her spare time, she volunteers with BC Alberta Guide Dogs, raising puppies that are training to be Guide Dogs for the blind/visually impaired or Autism Support Dogs for children and their families living with moderate to severe autism.
Travel Advice I can give to anyone:
Embrace the culture shock and appreciate each other’s cultural differences. Take time to talk to the locals, eat and drink at the local establishments.
